Incorrect sizing. The wide isn?t truly wide. It?s essentially the standard sizing of the boot.

The lace retainers on the left side of both boots broke off within 2 days, comfortable boots otherwise.

Shoe: I think the boots are great but there was an issue with me getting a 7 or 7.5 wide: the shoes were not wide and felt like a "normal" narrow boot. It fit perfectly length wise but just was not wide enough. The 8 was just wide enough but the length is a bit much. I think the sizing should be a part of the shoe instead of as a separate part (7, 7 Wide, 8, 8 Wide, etc.). The metal part of the inside of the boot where the laces were is a little bit irritating as it rubs against the foot from the inside unless the tongue covers it but it is manageable. Looking forward to breaking them in.

The GARMONT T8 BIFIDA line of boots are very comfortable, lightweight, quick to break in, and they have that manly look to them! Also love that they come in a Wide width.
