I recently veered from the T8 bifida i know and love to purchase the Athena boots, and they are missing all the parts I love. Biggest issue is the leather lower under the ankle. It rubs creating a blister. The parts I would add are the locking ankle eyelet and the upper speed lace eyelets would make these easier to tie

I just completed basic training using these boots entirely! They are well made, and I love the ankle support. I haven?t rolled my ankle once and I am prone to those, granted I watch my step to avoid getting injured but I have to give some credit to these boots for keeping my foot protected! They are so comfortable! The rucks were easier thanks to them. Will buy again.

Since I am smaller than your average bear, I had high hopes for the Garmont T8 Athena, constructed with a women's last. Unfortunately, like most boots, they slipped in the heel. Was also disappointed that, despite Garmont's strict return policy regarding condition of returns, the previous recipient of these boots returned them with a stain on the toe of the right boot.

i recommend going up a half size if you use the original garmonts. could barely squeeze into these! however, i do like the ankle support a lot better.

Got the same size as my running shoes, and I?m a skeptic on footwear purchases online but I AM SO GLAD I DID IT because now I?m in love! Lightweight, sturdy, love the laces!!!

Pretty comfortable and true to size (in women?s). However, a little too narrow for me. I have a wide foot and was just too tight for me.

Bought these boots for my daughter after her first ruck in Army-issued boots tore her feet up so badly she couldn?t wear boots for two weeks. The Garmont boots fit well right out of the box, lots of support, and no blisters after her 6-mile ruck last week. Highly recommend. True to size. Fast shipping too!
