I really like the boot. Well constructed and seems durable. Planning on buying again. One review said ready to wear right out of the box, no break-in needed. My experience was polar opposite! The area where my outer ankle meets the edge of the heel piece and the extra padding was quickly worn raw and after a week, one foot still requires mole skin and Band-Aids to even be able wear them. Unfortunately, these boots are needed for my work so I can't do a slow break-in.

These boots are absolutely amazing. I don?t ever leave reviews but these boots have earned it. My time in the Army, Garmont had my favorite boots (bifidas). I now work in a security officer role at a school, and wanted something similar in black. These knocked it out of the park, they look bada** first off. I was expecting to have to break these in for a week or 2 before they became comfortable, but one day 1 they fit like a glove. And even better now that they are broken in. The students at my school forced me into their game of football, I was hesitant as I just slapped these on that day and didn?t want to scuff them, but of course I took part anyway. I was hitting juke and spin moves, fully sprinting, and playing QB. These did not hold me back one bit, in fact make have gave me better grip. I can?t say enough about them. If you?re on the fence, TRUST ME they are 1000% worth it.

Awesome boots! Wore the T8s in the military for years and these civilian variants are every bit as comfortable

These boots are solid and firm and take a little bit to break in. I was expecting a better insole and cushion, but overall, they are great.
